Following Thursday's nationwide blackout‚ Korea's Knowledge Economy Minister Choi Joong-kyung expressed a willingness to leave his post.

Korea's power supply fell to as low as six percent of overall demand‚ which is far below the minimum safety margin of seven percent.
The Ministry of Knowledge Economy will take reports of damage caused by the power failure beginning on Tuesday.
Businesses and households can file reports of individual damage to reporting centers‚ which will be set up at around 1-hundred-89 locations of energy companies like the Korea Electric Power Corporation and Korea Industrial Corporation Complex.
The ministry added that every effort will be made to prevent further disruptions from taking place in the future.
A task force team will be formed with experts‚ putting them in charge of monitoring the nation's electricity reserve level and thus creating a more efficient reporting system at times of emergency.
