Here's a special dish made from steamed pine mushrooms and chicken cooked inside a pot.
Half dried abalone stuffed with grounded pine nuts is another nutritious dish that is described as royal cuisine from the Joseon Dynasty in ancient writings.
There are also oyster dumplings‚ grilled honeyed deodeok‚ a mountain herb with edible roots‚ along with snapper cooked with mushrooms.
These are all traditional Korean dishes that appear in an recipe book written around three hundred years ago.
Recently‚ a team of specialists and researchers revived 45 ancient Korean royal dishes from the Joseon Dynasty and has reproduced them for the public to try and enjoy.
The recipes‚ which have been compiled into a 200-page book‚ has reinvented the traditional dishes into modern meals for people to try.

These revived recipes that showcase the taste and traditions unique to Korea are expected to help spread the excellence of Korean cuisine‚ as well as accelerate the globalization of Korean food.
