A new state-of-the-art laptop was unveiled by Swedish firm Tobii Technology at last week's C-bit trade fair in Hanover. Visitors were able to experience the future of computer technology‚ which excluded the use of a mouse.
The system uses an infra-red light that shines into the user's eye. The reflection is taken to determine where the user is looking and what they want to do. For example‚ as one reads down the screen‚ the page automatically scrolls down along with one's eyes. It also senses when nobody is in front of the screen‚ and will turn itself off.
Tobii believes that once this system is ready for the mass publicmaybe in a couple of years from now‚ people with motor disabilities will benefit greatly. Also‚ it could be applied to cars to catch drivers nodding off at the wheel.

Schwarzenneger announced at the recent "Arnold Seminar"‚ now that his term is over‚ he is already being offered reprisal roles for popular franchises such as Terminator‚ Running Man‚ and even Predator. Whatever he chooses‚ fans can expect to see the "Governator" on the big screen soon.

Dozens of contestants could be seen tossing pancakes in frying pans all the while running relay races in the Great Spitalfields Pancake Race.
The rules are simple enough; you run the relay race‚ making sure to give your pancake a toss at three designated points.
Keep in mind‚ the event‚ organized by Alternative Arts‚ was more than just fun and games. Money was raised to aid the London Air Ambulance.
Pancake races actually date back to 1445 in England‚ originating when a housewife from Olney forgot all about church while busily making pancakes. Upon hearing the church bells ring for service‚ she jet off to make it while still carrying her frying pan and pancake!
Pancakes make for a fun tradition to celebrate the more serious occasion of Shrove Tuesday. It is a ritual where Christians confess their sins and receive absolution for them. Shrove Tuesday is considered the last chance for Christians to indulge and use up foods that they will be giving up for Lenta time to reflect and prepare for the celebration of Easter.
