The government will introduce comprehensive measures to support exports of overseas power plants after a domestic consortium recently lost out on two deals to Japan.
Korea's failure to win bids to build the nuclear power plants in Turkey and Vietnam.is something the government attributes to a lack of project financing.
To tackle the problem‚ the Ministry of Strategy and Finance will establish an 'Overseas Project Task Force Team' with other government agencies and financial institutions‚ such as Korea Eximbank and Korea Development Bank‚ to enhance support measures for the financing of such projects.
