We begin with the latest out of the nation's top office
President Lee Myung-bak carried out a minor shake-up of his Cabinet on this Friday the last day of 2010.
He carried out a reshuffle on a total of 18 state-run government posts including the replacement of six minister-level posts that have been vacant for months.
The Presidential Office of Cheong Wa Dae announced that the Korean leader named Choung Boung-gug a three-term lawmaker of the ruling Grand National Party and Head of the National Assembly's Culture‚ Sports and Tourism Committee as the nation's new culture minister.
He also tapped Choi Joong-kyung the current_x001b_Senior Presidential Secretary for Economic Affairs as the Minister of Knowledge Economy and aChung Tong-ki former Senior Presidential Secretary for Political Affairs as the Chief of the Board of Audit and Inspection of Korea.
