President Lee Myung-bak says the major goal of next year's budget plan is to give hope to the low-income bracket.
In his biweekly radio address President Lee vowed to increase financial support for childcare for low and middle-income households as well as multi-cultural families next year.
Lee also pledged to expand financial support for vocational schools and vowed his government will try to minimize the damage to the nation's financial health.
President Lee said if the National Assembly approves the budget plan his policy will benefit 70 percent of families with children which is also expected to help his 'fair society' campaign.
