The World Bank expects the Korean economy to recover faster than any other OECD member nations.
Citing Korea's strong economic fundamentals coupled with the government's stimulus measures World Bank officials say Korea will see a four-to-five percent growth in 2011.
Chief economist Justin Yifu Lin also notes China's growing demand for Korean products will play a key role in the economic rebound.
As for this year Lin says Korea's economy will likely contract about three to three and a half percent adding that global uncertainties could also hamper growth even in 2010 given the country's heavy reliance on exports.
