So the interrogation ended before midnight but he left the prosecutors' office at around two.

kaynam@arirang.co.kr] 11:20 pm that's when the prosecutors' office officially wrapped up its interrogation of former President Roh Moo-hyun in Seoul on Thursday.
The authorities finally called it a night after former President Roh was grilled for nearly 10 grueling hours but when all was said and done on Thursday more questions than answers remain.
Roh finally stepped out of the prosecutors' office a little past 2:00 a.m. on Friday after having spent more than two hours just to go over the statement he gave during the interrogation.
Here now is what Roh said before boarding the bus that he arrived in to return home near Busan.

Mr. Roh spent more than 12 hours inside the main building of the Supreme Prosecutors' office.

Now as the day wore on it really looked like the prosecutors were going to call in the person who is the eye of the latest corruption storm for a cross-examination. But‚ it didn't happen. Why[Reporter : 기자답변#2] "Hours before the legal tug-of-war came to an end the prosecutors were hoping for a breakthrough by trying to call in their star witness Park Yeon-cha for a cross-examination between him and the ex-president.
But the "it's-your-word-against-mine" session didn't get to see the light of day after Roh balked at the idea and refused to come face-to-face with his long-time friend and financial backer.
Taekwang Industry chairman Park who was arrested late last year for bribery and tax evasion is accused of giving a total of 6 million US dollars to Roh's wife and their son when Roh was still in office.
The Taekwang CEO reportedly told prosecutors when he had been summoned previously that he forked over one million dollars that is after Roh phoned him to request the sum sometime in 2007.
Park has also stated that he personally delivered 5 million more to Roh just a few days before Roh left office in February last year.
Through message postings on Roh's website the ex-president maintained his innocence by claiming his wife Kwon Yang-suk received the one million dollars from Park to settle personal debt and indicated that Park had actually invested 5 million in a venture company of the husband of his niece.
Roh's bottom line At this point it seem chances are very slim that the former President will be summoned again. So what's the prosecutors' next plan[Reporter : 기자답변#3] "For starters the prosecutors' office plans to summon the former first lady Kwon Yang-suk again after she was questioned for the first time by authorities earlier this month.
Prosecutors want to dig deeper for answers on where exactly the 1 million US dollars which Kwon admitted to receiving from Taekwang chairman Park Yeon-cha was used and for what purpose.
Prosecutors will also try to found out why Kwon had lied about the 300 million won by claiming she got the money from Park in 2006 with help from Roh's former aid Chung Sang-moon .
It was recently brought to the prosecutors' attention that the 300 million won was actually stashed in a borrowed-name account of Chung's all this time.
As for Roh the prosecutors' office is expected to either file a warrant for Roh's arrest or indict him without ordering jail time.
Speculation has it the authorities are leaning toward the latter."
