A judge in California has rejected Apple's request for an injunction against the sale of nine Samsung phones in the United States.
Apple had argued that its business would be harmed irreparably if Samsung were allowed to continue selling phones that were found to have infringed on Apple patents earlier this year.
U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh on Wednesday rejected that notion‚ saying Apple hadn't proved its claims.
While Apple declined to comment on the ruling‚ Samsung welcomed it and said the company remains committed to providing American consumers with a wide choice of their innovative products. Reporter : hyunbin@arirang.co.kr
