(Meanwhile) A new study shows that Korea's global companies are only a quarter as competitive as their Japanese counterparts.
The study‚ released on Monday by the Federation of Korean Industries‚ looked at a variety of elements surrounding the two countries.
In one example‚ Japan easily outstrips Korea in terms of export items with top global marketshare -- Tokyo has 2-hundred-31 items whereas Korea as 64.
In regards to the number of Fortune 500 companies‚ Japan has 57‚ while Korea only had 17.
