New this year will be a Taekwondo Grand Prix schedule to begin towards the end of this year.
The circuit will include 5 stops at major cities where athletes will gain points‚ while the sport gains points in promotion.
There will also be a team event added with 5 fighters a side be allowed to sub in for each other.
And head gear will now also be fitted with sensors to make it easier to reward aggression for strikes to the head.
Also in discussions is the fighting areaTaekwondo is considering switching their battle ground to an octagon used in the rapidly growing Mixed Martial Arts.
