[JeeHyun] Hello there Did you get a chance to see the parade yesterday?
[Mark] ______. I heard some 40‚000 people came out to see the parade and I'm sure they enjoyed it The weather was really stunning out there‚ too.
[You-sun] Well‚ tomorrow is National Foundation Day here in Korea‚ and I know there are some special events in the capital to celebrate that occasion‚ right?
[JeeHyun] Yes‚ there are. There is parade in Gwanghwamun‚ in the area around the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. There's also a peace marathon in the Gangnam area.
In fact‚ there are lots of fun festivals this month‚ but be sure to check the weather beforehand to make your trip more enjoyable. We had a gloomy start to the day‚ but we'll have much brighter afternoon.
But it's going to be chilly. The daytime high will only make it into the low to mid-20s in most regions.
Right now‚ we are looking at clouds covering up the nation but it wi get much brighter‚ so that's something to look forward to.
If you're planning to be outdoors tomorrow for National Foundation Day‚ you can expect sun throughout the day across the nation‚ but it will still be quite chilly.
You'll notice a sharp drop in our morning lows and afternoon highs in all regions‚ so dress warm so you don't get sick
It's still cloudy outside with a gentle breeze here in Seoul and now let's take a look at the readings for Seoul and other parts of the nation today.
Seoul will get up to 23 degrees Celsius‚ which 73 degrees Fahrenheit. The high in Daegu and Busan will be 27 and 26.
Moving on to other places around the nation: Jeju‚ Daejeon and Dokdo will feel cooler today while Mount Geumgang remains chilly with a mix of sun and clouds.
