Let's now get a check on the weather conditions with our Hanna Kim. Hello‚ Hanna.
Thanks‚ Daniel and good evening. Earlier this week we were so worried about the rain and now we're busy hiding from the sun.
Right‚ quite a drastic change‚ but the sun is very strong outside and it worries me a bit because I know UV radiation can do a lot of damage to our skin
So you really have to wear sunscreen if you plan to be outdoors for an extended period of time. But it is definitely nice to have a break from the monsoon rain. Now‚ we will continue to have partly sunny skies until Sunday‚ when we'll have more rain. But this weekend there are lot of summer events going on like the 16th annual Mud Festival and the Jisan Valley Rock Festival‚ so I guess you can say that the weather is cooperating.
if we take a closer look at the forecast Seoul will start off the morning at [23] and reach [33] in the afternoon. Meanwhile‚ the Gyeongsang Provinces have been witnessing a blazing heat wave as Daegu and Busan peak to [35] and [32] degrees respectively.
