Hello and good afternoon. Well‚ flowers are blooming everywhere and it looks like we'll be enjoying some summer temperatures for the next couple of days.But the spring blossoms also increase the amount of pollen in the air ‚ so a lot of people find themselves suffering from allergies.
[You-sun] That's right. The flowers are beautiful but this can really be an unpleasant part of spring if you suffer from pollen-related allergies.
[Mark] Yeah‚ even if you don't have allergies‚ the elevated levels of pollution and dust can cause other kinds of discomfort.
But Kelly‚. I hear you have some tips on how to alleviate the symptoms?
Well‚ first of all it's important to see a doctor to determine if you have an allergy or another kind of irritation.
You should also wash your hands regularly and avoid touching your eyes.
You could also try wearing a pollen mask.
Getting back to the forecast
We’ll be under clear blue skies for the rest of the day with a few passing clouds.
Temperatures will be a few degrees higher than they were yesterday‚ meaning it will be rather hot in the afternoon.
But the east coast will be seeing lots of clouds‚ gusty winds.. and cooler temperatures.
Now‚ Tomorrow‚ the warmer than normal weather should last for another day of so‚ Skies will be
mostly sunny and clear making perfect conditions for outdoor activities…But enjoy it while it lasts
because we have some scattered showers forecast for Thursday and Friday
Moving over to our satellite map
We have a high pressure system in the east‚ providing us with clear blue skies across the nation‚ but there are still lots of clouds lingering on the east coast.
Finally‚ checking on today’s readings
Seoul wil get up to 25 degrees in the afternoon.
Daegu and Gwangju will jump up to 22 and 26‚.. while Busan makes it to 19.
Over on Jeju Island‚ skies will be a bit cloudy throughout the day.
Daejeon hits 26 and Mount Geumgang will top out at 18.
