What's in store for today?
Today I have a play starring two very well known actors.
These two actors‚ Lee Soon-jae and Go Doo-shim‚ they are both legends in the industry.
Lee Soon-jae has become one of the most beloved grandfatherly characters in the business.
But that's not confined to just supporting roles anymore.
We've recently seen a trend of casting senior actors in starring roles‚ and this play shows us just what these actors‚ with years of experience behind them‚ have to offer.
Let's take a look.

His wife is dying‚ his very first love.
After sacrificing everything for her husband and child‚ Soonja is sick‚ and it pains the family to see her this way.
Now in the face of death‚ they realize the importance of forgiveness and the purity of true love.
Lee Soon-jae and Go Doo-shim are both familiar faces‚ they've played countless roles in dramas and movies for years in the industry.
And now‚ these two actors come together as a couple‚ re-finding their love for each other and for life as they face the hurdles that come with aging.
"Previously‚ we always played the role of father in law and daughter in law‚ but this time we are actually appearing as a couple and I'm honored to be next to the great Go Doo-shim."
Although she lived for her husband and child‚ now confronted with death‚ she shows the life of a woman‚ not of a mother and wife.
"This performance shows Soonja as she reflects on her first love. It's beautiful and pure from the wrinkled face to the graying hairs‚ we have perfectly been transformed to the elderly couple."
Since the debut performance in 2010‚ the show is now entering it's second appearance. It shows the rough edge of a country dialect‚ but it also reveals the warmth and beauty of love and forgiveness.
"The importance of family is really reinforced with this performance."
"Seeing how the wife is to the husband‚ the husband to the wife‚ makes you think about the reality of life."
These veteran actors are some of the most decorated on the screen and the stage‚ and now they lend their hand to a play that illustrates love‚ hope‚ and forgiveness found in the cracks and flaws of a beautiful life.

I feel like I've seen them on the screen pretty recently. What else are they involved in?
They're both extremely active right now. Go Doo-shim is currently a part of the drama "Mother's Garden" where she plays the role of a protective mother.
Lee Soon-jae is also starring in a comedy drama that just started airing called "Flower Grandpas Investigators."
But we really have been seeing a trend in casting these older actors‚ like you mentioned earlier. Why is that?
We have an aging audience‚ with more and more people from the upper age brackets attending events.
So they've been casting these senior actors and actresses in starring roles.
But also‚ shows like "Grandpa Over Flowers" which is the reality show "Flower Grandpa Investigators" show is inspired by‚ these shows have really put the talents of some of our older actors in the spotlight.
