Vibrant Caribbean reggae rhythm fills the air.
Jamaican reggae artists are performing their bright and uplifting music for a Korean audience.
It is the opening performance of the 2012 Latin American Cultural Festival‚ titled "Fever of Latin meets Korea."

C Sharp] "We want to introduce to the warth of Jamaica and the rhythm of the people‚ because our music is more bio-rhythm and so does dance‚ and everything about music is so Jamaican‚ so different‚ so we want to introduce that part of our culture to Korea."
Co-hosted by Korea's foreign ministry and the Korea Foundation‚ the concert features representative performances by seven Latin American countries‚ including traditional Peruvian music‚ and Argentine Tango dancing.

The event aims to bring these countries closer to Korea through an exchange of culture.
It also comes during the 50th anniversary year of Korea‚.. establishing diplomatic relations with some 15 Central and South American countries.

] "This mutual cultural exchange program started from 2006 to invite foreign dancers and performances to enhance understanding on their culture to the Korean people‚ so that we can enhance our mutual understanding on the cultural diversity."
