Five construction workers who were working on the Incheon International Airport Railroad early this Friday morning were hit by a train and killed on site.
An Incheon-bound train which left the Seoul Station at about half an hour after midnight ran over six workers who had been working on the railway to prevent it from freezing killing five and leaving one severely injured.
Authorities at the Korean National Railroad are trying to figure out why these employees were on the track without having received clearance from the main control center.
