It looks like the evaluation process of the country's war veterans will become more transparent.
During a national policy meeting today‚ the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs said it will have a panel of judges sit in with ministry officials for the screening of war veteran candidates beginning next month.
In addition‚ the ministry is also considering having a group of 10 to 20 people‚ comprised of citizens and veterans to observe the physical examinations of the candidates.
The new policy comes as the government seeks a more fair and objective judging process for the country's war veterans.
