The heat of summer is in full swing here in Korea
With the mercury expected to stay well above the 30-degree Celsius mark this Monday
The national weather agency has issued its first heat wave advisory of the year for Seoul‚ Gyeonggi Province‚ and parts of Gangwon and Jeolla Provincesas the daytime high in the capital is forecast to peak at 33 degrees Celsius the highest so far this year.
Health authorities recommend staying indoors‚ particularly between noon to four p.m.‚ and drinking plenty of water to avoid dehydration.
High temperatures are expected to linger throughout Monday and Tuesdaybefore dropping late Wednesday as a bout of rain sweeps the nation.
