The South Korean government has concluded that North Korea violated international law by jamming global positioning system signals in the South on Friday and Sunday.
Seoul's Foreign Ministry says Pyeongyang‚ which likely tried to interrupt the ongoing South Korea-US military drills‚ acted against the International Telecommunication Union charter which bans any type of disruption of another country's electromagnetic waves.
South Korea will now consider its options such as demanding that the North stop the violations‚ requesting that it take preventive measures‚ as well as that it provide compensation for any damage done.
