The charity event for the victims of last year's floods in Colombia will begin soon. The clock starts at 3:00 PM! The employees of the Colombian Embassy are busy adding the last touches to the preparations‚ meticulously checking over every detail to ensure that nothing can go wrong during the actual event. Charge d'affaires Manuel Solano looks as nervous as anyone else.
Soon‚ the clock shows five before three.
Everyone on the guest list is given a friendly phone reminder.

It is finally three o'clock! Guests come into the event hall one by one‚ and soon the very first donation is made.

[Interview : ] "Thank you very much for your contribution. On behalf of many people in Colombia‚ thank you very much.
[Interview : John H. Koh‚ First donor] "I am honored to be able to give what little help I can for this important cause."
The donations continue to pour in‚ and the employees of the embassy are filled with happiness.
They show their gratitude for the caring consideration of the donors with the small gift of coffee that they had prepared. They are reassured that the many days and nights of hard work they had spent in preparation for today had not been in vain.
