US Secretary of State‚ Hillary Clinton‚ hopes to see the Korea‚ US free trade agreement submitted and passed by Congress very soon.
Speaking at a Senate hearing on Capitol Hill Wednesday Clinton stressed that the free trade pact between Seoul and Washington is absolutely necessary for the United States' strategic and economic interests.
Meanwhile‚ a group of 65 new Republican House members sent a letter to President Barack Obama on Wednesday urging support for the Congress to approve the pending free trade deals with South Korea‚ Colombia and Panama within the next six months.
