요약정보
Signs of Libyan President Muammar Gadhafi's waning grip on power emerged over the weekend. Security forces defecting to the opposition and a transitional government taking root.
Some of Gadhafi's own security forces to the east of the capital said they had switched sides.
Meanwhile Mustafa Abd el-Jalil‚ Gadhafi's former justice minister said he would be named interim prime minister until an election could be held most likely within three months.
In a phone call to German Chancellor Angela Merkel President Obama said Gadhafi had lost legitimacy and needed to 'leave now'.
The Chancellor agreed saying it was 'high time' for Gadhafi to leave and expressed her support of a unaimous vote by the UN on Saturday to freeze all of Gadhafi's assets‚ as well as assets of his four sons and daughter.
With diplomats describing the tense atmosphere as ripe for civil conflict more South Korean's have evacuated the country on chartered planes and vessels.
And even though Korean construction firms had said previously that business would go on as usual for the most part plans are underway to further evacuate employees.
