Don't be surprised if it suddenly goes dark at 8PM today in Korea as companies across the country are observing 'Earth Day' on this Thursday by turning their lights for 10 minutes.
The Ministry of Environment says that more than two thousand public institutions and over two thousand homes nationwide will take part in the event.
National landmarks including N Seoul Tower and the 63 Building of Seoul as well as Busan Tower also plan to take part in the 'lights out' campaign.
A ministry official also asked individual families to take part by turning off any excessive lights for ten minutes as well.
