Good morning! We'll‚ we've made it to the end of another week. Already half way through Feburary if you can believe that! Although we've been seeing a much whiter week than we did this time last year‚ we can expect this little snowspell to taper off by the weekend‚ giving us just enough time to enjoy some sunny skies with our loved ones for the holidays. Today's temperatures will be hitting in the range of 0 to 8 degrees.
Let's move on in for a closer look at the forecast
We woke up to a little overnight snow dust for most of the nation. Please be careful on your way out because many of the streets and sidewalks are icy‚ and you don't want to slip! As for what we can expect for the rest of the day‚ we're in for another wet day‚ by wet I'm speaking more specifically about snow. We won't be seeing as much rainfall as we saw on Wednesday. The morning will actually start off mostly overcast‚ but dry to say the leastand the central regions will start off their snowfall first. Now‚ as we get into the afternoon‚ we'll start to see more of the regions begin to see snow! The cities along the southern coastline will actually be saved from most of the moisture today. The worst of it will probably finish up by late morning‚ leaving a very overcast Friday afternoon. Jeju Island‚ after a night of some thunder and lightning will also get a little rain‚ but not as much as yesterday. Let's take a look at the temperatures.
Starting with our lows for the morning
Seoul is back in the negatives again with the coldest temperature on the board this morning at minus 3‚ Daejeon and Gangneugn share minus 2 and Jeju at 5 degrees.
For our highs‚ we have Seoul and Daejeon peaking at 3‚ 5's for Gwangju and Busan‚ and 8 for Jeju Island.
