Upon the arrival of this cruise ship‚ a solemn religious ceremony begins‚ attended by guests‚ who came to congratulate the newlyweds as they begin their lifelong journey together.

We travelled west of the capital‚ where a bride and a groom were expressing their eternal love for one another‚ in the absence of an officiator.
Breaking with conventional wedding procedures‚ this couple took great initiative to entertain their guests‚ and to encourage them to participate in various activities.

Sungkonghoe University] "A conventional wedding‚ which usually lasts 15 to 20 minutes is much like a product being manufactured in a factory. So we're seeing a lot of young couples today in search of something new and something different."
Another marital trend is a return to tradition.
A growing number of men and women are deciding to host traditional Korean wedding ceremonies.
Couples put on traditional‚ colorful clothing‚ don special hats‚ and even wear makeup to complete their costume.
The guests‚ who stand to form a circle around the bride and groom‚ cheer and make witty comments‚ just like townspeople did in the old days‚ when they used to gather to congratulate newlyweds.
