Despite prevention methods the H1N1 virus continues to sweep across Korea as more than 15-thousand cases of infections have been confirmed with the country's 10th flu death reported just this Wednesday.
However newly-created software for thermal cameras may bring faster treatment for some as it is developed to better detect possible H1N1 infections.
Now what's different about this new software is that it provides two screens one capturing actual pictures of people passing by while the other shows body temperature and allows for a quick match of thermal images with actual people.
This exclusive software also includes an automatic alarm system that goes off with loud beeps when someone with a temperature higher than 37.8 degrees Celsius passes by.

Employee of software company] "The new software enables thermal cameras to have both the temperature screen and the actual video screen so if someone is suspected of having H1N1‚ we can easily track them down."
Some may worry about having to buy new thermal cameras that are compliant with the new software however‚ it can be installed into all types of thermal cameras no matter what model or brand.
Thermal cameras have been used in the past during various epidemics including SARS‚ avian flu and now H1N1.
They have been especially helpful in detecting people with temperatures beyond the norm helping health officials quickly to screen and isolate those suspected of infection.
Ever since the new flu broke out in early May hand sanitizers and face masks suddenly appeared everywhere but now it seems more thermal cameras with this new software will also pop up in various places as concern grows over the fast spreading H1N1 virus.
