Starting in 2011‚ the public will be able to submit more civil affairs documents or have certificates issued without visiting an administrative agency.
The Ministry of Public Administration and Security says it plans to expand its current online system known as G4C. The G4C portal will be connected to systems from more than 50 government agencies to increase online submissions and the issuance of civil affair documents in the coming years.
Officials expect the latest initiative will save as much as 650-billion won per year in service charges‚ as well as people's transportation expenses.
