The Presidential Council on National Competitiveness at its 11th meeting today discussed drafting new strategies for boosting the country's competitive edge.
On a practical level the meeting focused on ways to improve online administrative services as well as the construction sector.
The council also decided to ease regulations that govern overseas Koreans' gaining Korean citizenship by exempting a five-year residency requirement hoping to attract human resources overseas.
