With the congressional midterm elections just a week away‚ campaign advertisements continue to hit the airwaves across the nation.
Come election day‚ November 2nd‚ politicians and outside interest groups will have spent an amount exceeding the combined gross national product of several small Pacific island nations.
Most of the derogatory campaigns are direct and simple.
Republican nominee for the US Senate‚ Christine O'Donnell's campaign claims that she is not a witch‚ while portraying her opponent as a horror movie character named "The Tax Man."
Ben Quayle‚ the son of former US Vice President Dan Quayle produced an ad that dubs Barack Obama as the worst president in history who continues to weaken the country.
The low blows don't end there.
Democrat Allan Grayson even went as far as describing his opponent as a Taliban member who forces raped women to bear the child.
According to Professor Tobe Berkovitz‚ an expert in campaign commercials‚ in order to break through the media clutter and compete with opponents' negative campaigns‚ it is impossible to survive without coming up with ads that can counter an opponent's efforts to tarnish your image.
One of the biggest targets for the Paparazzi has been the celebrity couple of Russell Brand and Katy Perry.
The couple held their wedding in the luxury resort of Ranthambore located in Rajasthan‚ India.
The event was shrouded in secrecy and all that's known to those other than the invited guests is that it was an elaborate Hindu wedding ceremony.
