This April‚ some of the most amazing jewels in the world will be auctioned off in New York.

A vivid yellow diamond necklace set that weighs 100.17 carats will also be auctioned off‚ along with a Burmese ruby and diamond ring and a collection of Kashmir sapphires.
Though some may wonder how many people in this world would spend so much on these extravagances‚ according to industry experts‚ people will always recognize exceptionally rare items like these and will always eagerly spend money on them.
A new‚ hybrid sport combines chess and boxing.
Inspired by a 1992 comic book by French artist Enki Bilal‚ the first match was held in Amsterdam in 2003.
Bouts are comprised of 11 rounds.
After each boxing round‚ competitors take off their gloves and compete in a four minute round of chess at the center of the ring.
The boxers put cotton wool in their ears‚ and wear a set of headphones with heavy metal music playing‚ to ensure that they don't get any help from the noisy crowd.
As the competitors alternate six rounds of chess with five rounds of boxing‚ it can be very physically and mentally draining.
There are five ways to decide a winner.
Knocking out an opponent in the ring‚ getting a checkmate in the chess match‚ judge's decision‚ throwing in the towel or when one player cannot make a chess move within 12 minutes.
The current world champion is 17-year-old Leo Granit Kraft from Russia.
