Twenty-five years have passed since the song "We are the World" was originally recorded.
Now‚ producer Quincy Jones and singer/songwriter Lionel Richie have organized a new generation of superstar singers to record a new version of that same charity song.

The Jewel of Muscat‚ an Omani ship built according to long-preserved local techniques‚ will travel an ancient maritime trade route‚ which links the Arab Peninsula with Southeast Asia.
What's most unique about the ship is that it was constructed without the use of a single nail.
It was built in accordance with ninth century shipbuilding techniques‚ in which wooden planks were held together using coconut fiber and ropes.
The timber used was coated with a layer of goat fat‚ mixed with lime‚ in order to make the ship watertight.
The purpose of this project‚ which was funded by the governments of Oman and Singapore‚ is to reconstruct an ancient Arab ship‚ whose ruins were discovered in 1998.
The sailors will use ninth century Arab navigation techniques‚ including the use of ancient latitude calculating instruments as well as the sun‚ stars‚ sea color‚ wind direction and their observations of marine life to determine their course.
