On the sidelines of the annual East Asia Summit in Myanmar Thursday‚ President Park Geun-hye held bilateral talks with Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha (prah-YOOT chahn oh-CHAH).
President Park promoted Korea's advanced technology in water management‚ then requested her counterpart to give Korean firms priority when selecting a bidder for a part of its 10-billion-dollar river management project.
The Chan-ocha government is currently reviewing the decision to give Korean firms priority for 5.7 billion dollars worths of the project.
