World number one Roger Federer is showing why he is the man after a simple two set win over Novak Djokovic at the Cincinnati Masters.
This event seems to be a prelude and a warm up for his title defense of the US Open.
The 15-time grand slam champion ripped through the first set and then came back from behind to win the second and clinched his fourth title of the year.
Djokovic was the runner up last year and hit back well but just wasn't able to keep up the game that was needed to defeat Federer.
Maryam Yusuf Jamal retained her world title in the women's 15 hundred meter after the winner of the race‚ Natalia Rodriguez was disqualified for pushing an opponent.
Rodriguez was the winner after a sprint in the home stretch after having been involved in the fall of Gelete Burka of Ethiopia.
Rodriguez clocked a time of four minutes and 3.3-6 seconds but was disqualified for pushing herself in the inside lane in the final bend‚ knocking down Burka in the process.
Multiple triple sprint gold medalist and world champion Usain Bolt of Jamaica was honored by Berlin's Mayor Klaus Wowereit with a section of the barrier erected by East Germany from 1961 to 1989.
The souvenir weighs 2.7 tons‚ and stands 3.6 meters high and 1.2 meters wide.
It will be shipped to Jamaica‚ 10 thousand kilometers away.
Ruben Barrichello ended a five-year wait for victory by winning the European Formula One Grand Prix.
Five years of frustration was laid to rest with this emotional victory.
Barrichello was going through a winless slump until Sunday as his last victory was with Ferarri in China in September 2004.
Barrichello was the second oldest driver on the grid but had enough juice to take the checkered.
