Perfect fall weather greets as we head into Hangeul Day.
Let's turn things over to our Kim Bo-gyung at the weather center. Bo-gyung‚ how are things looking?
These wonderful autumn conditions should continue throughout the day and tomorrow.
Today is Hallo ‚ one of the 24 seasonal indicators‚ marking the beginning of chilly days. The morning temperatures here in Seoul dropped to 11 degrees‚ but quickly rose to the mid-twenties under clear skies.
A heads-up‚.. we'll be able to check out the first total lunar eclipse in three years‚.. at around 7:24 p.m. Korea time. Clear skies should make it easy for us to view the eclipse anywhere in the country.
Otherwise‚ keep in mind the big gap in temperatures between the days and nights. A jacket is must when heading outside.
Tomorrow is Hangeul Day‚ which is a national holiday‚.. and light showers are forecast for parts of the eastern coast. Overall‚ the weather will be perfect for soaking up some vitamin D. Rainy conditions may start off our week next Monday.
On to Thursday's readings. Sunny Seoul hits 25. Daegu and Gwangju 26. Busan 25.
As for other regions. Daejeon starts off the day at 9 degrees‚ before jumping to 24 in the afternoon. Jeju reaches 23. Dokdo 22. Mt. Kumgang 16.
