I am Lee JeeHyun with a weather update for Jindo and around the country. Winds and waves should be slightly calmer than yesterday in Jindo‚ and the morning rain should gradually let up heading toward the afternoon.
But spring tides start from today which will last till Friday‚ it's a period during which currents are at their strongest‚ so it will be challenging for divers at the disaster site.
And the rest of the nation will have another rainy and cloudy day today.
This band of rain will start to gradually tail off in the western parts of the peninsula from the afternoon and most of the rain has let up here in Seoul and surrounding areas and even the sun is trying to come out behind the clouds.
Though‚ with continuous rain‚ temperatures have been on the cool side last few days highs struggling to reach 20 degrees Celsius‚ and it seems like the temperatures should be similar to yesterday‚ so please dress accordingly.
With that in mind‚ let's take a closer look at the readings for today.
Seoul‚ Daegu‚ Gwangju and Busan should all top out at 18 this afternoon.
Let's see how other regions are looking
It looks like Jeju will reach 19‚ Daejeon peaks at 18 and Dokdo will see a high of 13‚ while Mt. Kumgang tops out at 8.
