Hello I'm Yang Un-jung with your weather forecast.
Friday‚ we're going to be getting a well deserved break‚ and what I mean by break is not whole lot of sunshine‚ but at least we can stay rain-free for the day.
We're going to be dealing with two different systems‚ one is high pressure moving in from Southern Japan and the other is low pressure from the west.
So‚ there's definitely going to be some instability in the atmosphere with a lot of clouds building up especially across Seoul-Gyeonggi and Gangwon's Yeongseo regions.
Then‚ by the evening hours‚ showers will start to develop from the western coastal regions which will expand into the rest of the country during overnight.
Our highs for Friday will be much warmer than today.
Seoul's getting up to 20 degrees‚ tomorrow.
Busan will be at 22 degrees‚ and around 23 to 24 in Daegu and Gwangju.
Daejeon will peak at 22 as well. But Jeju's slightly cooler at 19 degrees.
Dokdo will be at 15 and Mt. Geumgang will be even warmer at 17 degrees.
Moving on to the international weather.
Much of China's looking dry except Beijing has some morning drizzles to start off the day.
But more prolonged rain will push into Hong Kong for the next little while‚ so be prepared.
At the same time‚ low pressure's departing from Japan‚ so mostly sunny skies are expected for the next couple of days.
Down under
Currently there's a strong cold front moving into the western parts of Australia which will trigger more cool rains into much of the west and the south‚ over the next few days.
Meanwhile onshore winds will bring in some showers as well into Southern Queensland. Melbourne's yet fine and dry but wet weather's definitely approaching.
Into North America
The severe weather's now clearing out nicely across much of the northeast as well as the southeast.
Beautiful sunshine will return with seasonable temperatures for the weekend‚ so make some outdoor plans and enjoy.
Chicago's getting a nice sunny break as well with highs getting up to the mid teens.
L.A's on the cool side though‚ with only 21 degrees.
Down in South America
There are more showers instore for southeastern Brazil on Friday‚ and Santiago's expecting only teens for your high under sunny skies.
Buenos Aires will turn partly cloudy in the steady mid 20s.
Now over to Europe
Moscow‚ you'll stay rain-free tomorrow but expecting a cool afternoon.
In contrast‚ wet weather's pushing into Paris and London on Friday.
Berlin along with Rome will stay fine and dry but more heavy rain is on the way for Madrid.
Lastly in Africa
Algiers will see a mix of sun‚ clouds‚ rain and thunder activity at the same time while Addis Ababa's also expecting some raindrops in the evening.
Cape Town down south will bounce back up into the low 20s.
