July started off on a wet note and the first week looks to bring more intermittent rain.
We will get a break‚ though‚ on Tuesday when afternoon highs climb to just under 30 degrees.
Let's take a closer look at our national weather.
Parts of the nation may see a break of sun Tuesday.
Busan has a slight chance of drizzle in the morning‚ with a possible break late in the day.
The afternoon will warm things up in Daejeon to 29 and Jeju Island a balmy 27.
And things will stay a tad cooler up on Mount Geumgang with mercury readings from 14 to 20.
Moving out to the rest of Asia- Tokyo may see some thunder clouds and Beijing just overcast skies.
New Delhi will see a day of thunder showers and similar conditions will be experienced in Manila as well.
Moving further south- early clouds over Port Moresby will give way to clear skies for most of the day.
Jakarta‚ too‚ will enjoy plenty of sunshine.
Down in Perth‚ there's a chance of the rain carrying over to Tuesday but it will be light and brief.
Going over to North America.
Vancouver can expect rain to return around noon‚ while further down the coast- Los Angeles will be a hot 30 degrees.
Over in New York‚ a moderate 26 is the expected high under partly cloudy skies.
Down in South America- Bogota will enjoy another day under the sun with a few more afternoon clouds.
Rio de Janeiro is drying up from the weekend rain and Buenos Aires will also see a mix of sun and clouds.
Looking at Europe- Paris can expect the rain to stick around for much of this week.
But Londoners will skip free of the rain if they hang on just one more day.
Over in Moscow‚ it will be mostly clouds but some drizzle to move in
by late evening.
And in Africa- Tripoli and Cairo are staying warm with a high of 36‚ which actually is a drop from last week's readings.
Cape Town will see a rise in the mercury to reach 20 for the afternoon.
