Now for those of us here in Korea‚ you say it will be a good idea to venture outdoors this weekend for a taste of the crisp autumn air. With mild temperatures‚ few clouds and just a bit of precipitation. It’s a great weekend to spend outdoors. And if that's not convincing enough‚ here's a reminder that future weekends for the rest of the year are only looking colder. Today is starting off cloudy in the southern region and with light clouds in the central region but the weather will be generally clear. Today's highs are looking very similar to yesterday falling between 16 and 21 degrees. For the weekend‚ mild temperatures and clouds are in the forecast with the central region expecting very light rain on Saturday‚ but the rest of the peninsula is looking dry with some clouds overhead.
A mixture of clouds and sunshine throughout the day is what's predicted as today's weather will be a continutation of the weather Korea has been seeing for the past couple of days - high clouds and sunshine peeking through. Less clouds are in the forecast today so it looks to be a great start for the weekend and a great day to enjoy the brisk fall air.
Low temperatures for this morning are similar to yesterday's‚ with the exception of Daejeon. Daejoen's low was 4 degrees warmer yesterday than the day before‚ and today it's predicted to fall back down a couple of degrees again. In general‚ the mornings will gradually get cooler as the year progresses. Lows for other cities have moved up or down 1 degree. Looking at specific lows for today‚Jeju 17‚ Gwangju 11‚Daejeon 10‚ and Seoul 10.
Afternoon temperatures have gone up slightly from yesterday‚ at most 2 degrees. It looks like many will opt to walk or even stroll to restaurants for lunch. It's also a great opportunity to see the trees sprinkled with the changing colors. Taking a look at specific highs‚ Jeju 21‚ Gwangju 21‚Daejeon 19‚ and Seoul 19.
Temperatures for the last weekend of October look mild and pleasant. Saturday is predicted to get gradually cloudy and the clouds are predicted to linger into Sunday morning and then clear up as the day progresses. Conditions are looking pleasant for those the ghosts‚ goblins‚ witches‚ monsters‚ AND fairies that may be meandering the streets for Halloween this weekend. Hope this weekend there are more treats than tricks.
