Tesla Motors has chosen Korea's Hankook Tire as its main supplier for its newest car‚ the "Model 3". The U.S. automaker‚ which specializes in eco-friendly electric cars‚ finalized its deal with Hankook Tire in Los Angeles‚ after comparing samples submitted by multiple global tire companies. Hankook Tire says it will provide the American company with tires specifically manufactured for the "Model 3" that aim to minimize battery loss. The value of the contract has not been revealed. The "Model 3" was unveiled in March‚ and has since been pre-ordered by more than 400-thousand people. It retails for 35-thousand U.S. dollars and can run over 340 kilometers with a single charge.
