In the race for the White House‚ a new poll suggests Donald Trump has caught up with Hillary Clinton‚ with both candidates tied with 40 percent voter support. The latest New York Times/CBS News poll suggests that Clinton's six-percentage-point lead from last month over the presumptive Republican nominee has evaporated. The race is also tied in a three-way contest when Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson is added to the mix. He gets twelve percent of the vote‚ but Clinton and Trump remain tied‚ with 36 percent each. In particular‚ more voters believe Clinton is dishonest and cannot be trusted. This increase comes after the recent FBI investigation suggested Clinton was extremely careless with handling government email but should not be prosecuted.
